Art is intimate and personal, so much so that some of my large paintings take a year or more to complete.
When I am drawing, I am mindful of what I am drawing. But as soon as I pick up a paintbrush, I slip into a different state of consciousness.
Someone recently asked me on Instagram if my images had a social meaning. To be clear. I advocate peace, love, and kindness. No one has the right to harm another being. So I suppose in that way. My art does have a social meaning.
